A long time humanitarian and US Army Vietnam Veteran, he also served as a full time emergency department physician in Washington, DC and catalyst for change. We are infinitely greater because of his contributions and grateful to be a part of his legacy. He will be deeply missed.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. David Griswell, MD. As a member of our very first mission to Haiti, Dr. Griswell helped define Team Rubicon's cultural values and the foundation on which we stand.

They have lived through multiple fires and floods in their Southern California home. Last September, another wildfire torched their property, destroying the house their son and grandchildren lived in, and over 1.000 trees planted by their son.
