The hubris displayed by WindRiver and @Intel with StarlingX.
They spend 5+ years on a proprietary fork of @OpenStack, realize they've built a house of cards and then play the OpenStack foundation against the @linuxfoundation to see which will carry their technical debt.

The "right thing" IMHO would be not to have open sourced anything and not dumped crap on the upstream developer community that will be expected to be supported. A product is a product. Let the vendor swallow the costs of maintaining a fork.
