Complaints can be made at for being the original sinner in smoothing my way, inspiring me, and at times, sadly looking at too many geese with me by a river. Looking very forward to finishing these books. To that end, I will be living in a log den until 2026. Oops

Anyway, the baby glitched out and constantly falls asleep, and Harrow got smushed to death in a Murphy bed. This is still better than my Rimworld game where she married Dulcinea Septimus. I think Gideon died of the plague and my colonists had to eat her. Keep healthy, everyone

I’m tremendously sorry that this is happening at a time when all I wish for everyone is joy, safety, and all the toilet paper they can eat. I hope you’re keeping it together. I also hope you know that I tried to think up a Coronavirus Tridentarius joke and couldn't.

As an offering, we’re releasing a new Locked Tomb short story instead on June the 2nd. It’s set prior to GIDEON THE NINTH. Its specifics are secret, but if you unravel the puzzle below, you might work out an important clue: Narrator’s name rhymes with PAMILLA SECT

It feels like skiting to imply that this disappoints anyone anywhere, but I accept that some people wanted those 500 biscuit pages. I could not be sorrier about this, nor more grateful for your support. Here are all the ways we have racked our brains to allay your sadness:

HARROW is not the only book delayed this season, but this was a decision that was enormously difficult to make for everyone involved. It sucks. We all hate it. I was so excited for June to be the month where people read over five hundred pages of God eating biscuits.

(FIST PUNCHES THROUGH COFFIN LID) Bonelords, attend. We’re delaying the pub date for HARROW THE NINTH from 6/2/20 to 8/4/20, and the GIDEON THE NINTH trade paperback from 5/19/2020 to 7/14/20. That’s HARROW in August, and GIDEON in July. Don’t cry. Ianthe loves it when you cry.

I just want to let you all know that the material on the cover is also very soft, like a baby, and when they sent me my copy I was on Skype with who had to watch me stroke it and croon.

This is an extremely funny, kind and thoughtful review, but now that Gideon and Harrow have been sorted into Hogwarts houses I think I've peaked. It was nice while it lasted

I mean sure, I WANTED the cover to be the long-suffering, world-too-much-with-her spy badass ex-prophetess swordswoman betusked lesbian heroine Csorwe wearing a t-shirt saying "I'm Only Here For The Beer", but my art direction is genius yet undiscovered

I'm revving up to have a yell about THE UNSPOKEN NAME, but get ' wonderful cover in your sockets. Grim, stylish, bloody, eye-catching. I cannot wait for everyone else to read this book.

will never get over how editing is just an exquisite waltz between author and editor. it has turns and chasses. it has back flips and laser stunts. it has both partners howling at each other about how many times the author has used the word 'breadth'. normal beautiful waltz stuff

DOCILE is like eating a chocolate and you find half a spider inside but the spider is also your ability to love yourself, an ability you sold to a bad man for some stale bread. played me like a violin and threw me in the dumpster. 11/10, A++, Elisha Look Behind You!!!.

Mistakenly read DOCILE on a plane. Mistakenly not that I read blisteringly explicit material sandwiched between two other people, but that I needed to talk to ANYONE, EVERYONE, about what was turning out to be the most fresh and destructive horror story of recent memory.
