5. Don't let me see recruiters contacting me, even if they pay. Perma-ban anyone who circumvents. Create forum for funny butthurt banned recruiters. I'd pay for that. 6. Educate recruiters on how to actually recruit. Don't spend a single sentence on recommending cold msgs.
7. Teach recruiters respect. Teach them who NOT to contact. Like, no, a react expert leading a dev team at a startup doesn't want your entry level Russian SquareSpace styling gig. No, it doesn't have room for growth. You want to be valuable, THATS VALUABLE.
8. Give me a box of invites of ppl who ONLY added ME that day. Archive anyone who's added 30+ people that day. No, even a pro networker doesn't actually meet that many ppl and add them on LinkedIn in a single day. That's spam. Kill it.
9. Give VCs and advisors a different profile if they want to showcase their port. Make them pay for the specialness. It'll get their cocks hard, you'll gen revenue, and they won't pop up when I'm looking for a security guy at X company. YOU ARE THEIR INVESTOR YOU DONT WORK THERE.
10. Delete all messages I haven't responded to and archive the person unless your AI is 100% certain I want to talk to them. If the word "opportunity" or "network" is in the message, just fucking cancel them.
11. Actually just delete the messaging functionality entirely. Make them request my email address manually. If I approve, they can send me an email, Craigslist style. That barrier to entry and Gmail's better spam filtering will protect me.
12. Mark whether someone responds to messages, hasnt been around for years, etc. You're not doing anyone any favors by pretending the site is active except ensuring a inactive user NEVER becomes active again. Is redisengagement a thing? Bc LinkedIn nails it.
13. Give companies an way to recover access. I've had 5 clients or employers who have multiple company profiles as their outsourced SEO guy didn't use a company email address when setting up LinkedIn.

So basically @owocki do the good stuff don't do the bad stuff and don't forget that adding value has to actually fucking add value for everyone. Value is not getting "I dunno if bot or human" to pay for your shit. That only works in uber short-term.
