If KC pulls this out, what are the chances Trump A. Thinks the Chiefs play in the state of Kansas B. Takes shots at the city of SF in a congratulatory tweet to KC

With their votes to make the American president accountable to no one, Republican senators have put the interests of one president over the interests of all Americans. The only remedy now is for us all to vote in overwhelming numbers to replace them—and him—in November.

Let me get this straight. Trump’s impeachment team argued “anything he does to win reelection isn’t impeachable.” So, can he shoot & kill his Democratic rival in October to win re-election in November? That would be okay? Y’all bat shit crazy!

It's clear what the President's lawyers are saying: If you want a fair trial, we're going to make this endless. We're going to make this painful. But a fair trial isn't a threat. It's a cornerstone of American democracy. And you can't have a fair trial without basic fairness.

A trial without evidence or witnesses is nothing short of a sham. A majority of Americans and a plurality of Republicans favor calling witnesses. Senators who oppose calling witnesses are telling their constituents they can’t be trusted with the truth.

Hundreds of protesters avoid arrest by moving and being silent. Such a powerful message. Let’s make it viral.

Remember Republicans, Trump directed all of the witnesses who were subpoenaed not to show up and then claimed he was kept out of the process. Republicans are free to call witnesses at any time, they have the majority...

After listening to the President’s lawyers opening arguments, I have three observations: They don’t contest the facts of Trump’s scheme. They’re trying to deflect, distract from, and distort the truth. And they are continuing to cover it up by blocking documents and witnesses.

OUTNUMBERED: Trump supporters are outnumbered 5 to 1. Almost 75% of the USA is either women, non-whites or veterans...vast majority who hate trump. That leaves 25% white males, of whom fewer than 50% support trump. So why are WE THE PEOPLE putting up with the GOP? RISE UP

Lindsey Graham came up with a bizarre explanation for why Trump shouldn’t be removed from office: Trump didn’t think he was doing anything wrong. “If he thought he was doing something wrong, he would probably shut up about it,” Graham told reporters.

"We cannot indulge ourselves the luxury of patronizing or excusing the misconduct of our own people ... It is we, not the Democrats, who must demonstrate that we are capable of enforcing the standards we would set for them."

That's funny. Jamie Dimon seemed fine with corporate socialism when his bank got a $416 billion bailout from American taxpayers.

Work backwards: The “check” on acting in a purely partisan way on matters of *law* is that your standard will apply to the other party. The only way you don’t care is if you believe opposition will never hold power again. And to guarantee that, you NEED the foreign interference.

The second article of impeachment was for obstruction of Congress: covering up witnesses and documents from the American people. This morning the President not only confessed to it, he bragged about it: "Honestly, we have all the material. They don't have the material."
