If you believe helping make software more secure is tearing someone down, then I don't know what to tell you. You need to educate yourself.

It's in Google's interest to have safe and trustworthy software, and fund research in pursuit of that. If you want to do some mental contortions to turn that into something sinister, then that's your problem. Maybe you should stop shitting all over things you don't understand?
