Actually I treat anti-virus alerts as a sign that all the other layers of security failed. It should be the last layer of defence, and if everything else is working you shouldn't need it. But.. well, it's back to click-happy Dave in the other corner.

The problem is your "last layer of defence" isn't a tripwire, it's a tunnel through all your other layers. You've undone everything else you've done.
