Passing this info along. Concerned about revocation. The need to communicate with localhost over https is a common problem that developers are trying to solve.
I know how this was created. They likely wanted certificate for localhost to prevent mixed content. Since localhost cert can't be had, this is a workaround. Not a nice one, it's a workaround/hack. Yes, it contains private key.
