Here's 1 example(which we hit at MS) proving how wrong it is : 2 lines fix, unit tests, etc... all passed great. In our test bench, running external products, boxes crashed. Why ? 1 widely used product did pattern matching against fn prefix for hooking and blew up on change

Obviously only the original vendor can do a full QA, and ideally it will be original vendors, not some 3rd parties, creating micropatches. (Btw, source on that ksplice QA would be appreciated.)
