what would an ACME client that you like have to do differently?

I guess just robust and tiny, with no crazy dependencies. I'd prefer it was so simple sandboxing is unnecessary.

It only does the actual acme work, assuming you know how to make your own keys, CSRs, httpd configs, etc. Opposite of certbot invasiveness.
