I like password managers (or, at least, I like 1Password) and think the advantages more than outweigh the risks of using them.

It's not easy to say, because balancing tradeoffs. You have to trade some convenience to reduce attack surface, etc.

How about: use your browser's password manager. Chrome even has https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/1181035 …. Sadly Chromium lacks sync on Android.

last time I looked Chrome's pw manager was an unencrypted SQLite DB, that changed?
