Could it be triggering on SetWindowsHookEx? (Same API is used by keystroke loggers & A/V isn't known for making fine distinctions)

Yeah, maybe they should get one of their engineers to ask how to differentiate between hooks on stack overflow

We've been battling with several AV vendors snatching up our uninstaller. General conclusion from multiple vendors was to sign it :(

Clearly had no issue signing it, just sad this was the work around.

Somewhat true -- difference though is I've found it relatively easy to get false positives removed from SBL, not true w/ AV.
