Your conclusion is that I must not understand how software works? I'm sick of these toxic password manager discussions.

All firewalls are poppable too, but they are not useless nor should they be denigrated as a tool overall.

A good firewall (like a good pwm) has a net negative affect on overall attack surface. Not all are good.

Do you think I don't understand attack surface, or do you think it's possible the topic is more nuanced than that?

I see you, with a tremendous reputation, critiquing PWM software whilst apparently too exhausted to address the wider issues

Some less-than-completist journalist will happily write that PWMs suck "because TO broke them" with a net negative to humanity

I express a preference for that not to happen, as any PWM with a local attack surface is better than a litany of "qwerty" Passwords.

So.... You agree the subject is nuanced now? Well, at least you're no longer trying to explain security to me.

Cool, any other concepts I need to be taught? Maybe if someone just teaches me arithmetic I'll understand that 1 PWM > 0 PWM!

dude, you do awesome work. If you're too pooped to simultaneously break PWM software & contextualise the risk, consider your goals.

I'm exhausted with discussions like this. You want the subject to be simple, but it's not and you don't want to hear it.
