End-users can't fix it themselves, they are at the mercy of the vendor. At least give them the time to issue an update and inform users to install the update. That's my thought process.
If you work at a big company one day, you'll see thousands of colleagues with different opinions, priorities and views. You're not required to adopt every policy/action as your own, just as you're not required to renounce your citizenship if you disagree with your government.

Completely agree. I care about the people as well, but I also care about the engineers at Zoom, who are probably working long days to scale for their unforeseen increase in usage, while probably lots of their staff out due to COVID as well.

These guys are under extreem pressure now, and I'm sure giving Zoom the time to react probably would probably reduce the pressure on the engineers as well. But now, these guys are taking the heat for this PR nightmare, I'm sure of that.
