Sorry, I deleted that tweet to correct a typo. Have there been cases that someone who wasn't tested has had their death attributed to coronavirus?

Hmm, I guess that's something. I can see with my own eyes there's not enough testing, but I get the point that the fatality rate suggests we're not missing *too* many. I think we would need to compare a baseline fatality rate to dismiss it entirely though, no?

Even if you can't test, it must surely be possible to assign a *probability* that the death was COVID-19 related. There's a big difference between what is needed for clinical needs (of the individual) to statistical needs (for tracking epidemiology)
