You said I didn't understand that there was a difference between access for one minute and access for three months. Rebooting every minute is ridiculous, so that scenario doesn't make sense - give me a realistic scenario where I couldn't just adjust my behaviour to compensate.
Are you going to have mandatory hourly rolling reboots? That is the only possible way that could matter. Now the attacker has to compromise you again if they want more than an hour of microphone data... that is a minor inconvenience, so what did you achieve?

You started at rolling reboots every minute, then you changed to hourly reboots, so how often will you reboot to achieve this reduction in value? Um, if physical proximity is required, can't you just drop a transmitter in their office?
