the debate, if annoying to some, is healthy toward industry of thought to many

I don't mind people debating it, I do mind people spamming and being obnoxious.

While I know this is facetious, (because you always share your opinion!) too many experienced security people are ignoring these debates. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. We will eventually get whatever legislation/regulation the loudest voices call for.

It's a concern, but I think things are stable. The debates have been raging for so long, I see no reason to believe there will be a significant shift one way or the other. For every new person who clutches their pearls, another sees invention stimulated and the art elevated.

It might be a dumb question but what does it means ? Offensive Security Tools ?
-
Yes, offensive security tools. There's a group of Mandiant people being obnoxious about it and spamming their agendas on twitter.

It’s fun watching people demand changes in the way other people deliver things they are creating for free. FWIW I have no regrets about any of the offensive tools I’ve released and they all did more good than harm even if a bunch of people were pissed about it IMO.
