Beyond the fact that we're not always on trusted networks, we could say, performance?

Sounds like you need to get out your wallet, a trusted network is just $4.99 away.

We're on the same page about DoH, but we disagree on this. DoH encrypts a necessary hop, bandwidth reselling just moves the hop around a bit. I think you're trying to rationalize a profitable service without utility.

I guess it depends on if you think Comcast and Verizon are trying to profile you via traffic analysis, and whether that bothers you.

What if I think Mullvad's ISP is trying to profile me?

Right, but "Firefox Private Network [..] prevents websites and ISPs from spying on your browsing.", but what you're saying is it just replaces one ISP for another. So that claim is not accurate, right?

I'm not going argue about marketing-speak (Google's often makes similar imprecise claims). For some there will be a difference between a remote ISP that only knows your IP address and a local ISP that can associate your name and billing info with the traffic.

Well, we do agree the claims are marketing speak. I guess this service seems out of character for you, but we can't agree on everything I suppose.
