There are a bunch of complications that arise when you actually try to implement this kind of mass image blocking at scale. It is easy to throw stones from the sidelines; if you spent time actually working on the problem you would realize the compromises weren’t arbitrary.

It's an easy problem to solve, because the space of available answers includes breaking up Facebook until it stops having these unique-to-its-scale problems that nobody outside the org can really be considered qualified to comment on

How does breaking up Facebook help with that problem? People would spread revenge porn via whatever channels end up replacing Facebook (hopefully several). It would be harder to track, let alone prevent (gr?).
