Alternative interpretation of the thread: make sure you use MFA, because you end up letting other people use your computer, and this can get your password stolen.

But I think in general "you'll end up doing X, so mitigate it by using Y" is easier advice to follow than "don't do X".

Sure, but I suppose the better X in this scenario would have been "use the guest or user accounts feature provided by your OS".

Isn't that just 'use chromebooks' because no one trusts that feature elsewhere. Heck you reboot a Mac into recovery mode, it gives you a cut down OSX & connects to the last WiFi network automatically, that's more than YOU need on most networks.
