seriously I can't really think of a harder show to watch than Handmaid? It is brutal. BRUTAL. At least Black Mirror had two, count 'em, *two* positive episodes (Hang the DJ and San Junipero).

"Smithereens" has some truly excellent digs at Silicon Valley. Looking someone up by their two factor phone number, activating the phone mic remotely, having more info on a suspect than the actual police *and* FBI, plus a ten day silent CEO desert cleanse 🤣

all right this third episode "Ashley Too" is.. uh.. what's the right word... *bad*? I mean it's kinda OK but it's not really a Black Mirror episode in tone, content, theme.. or anything? Might be the worst episode of all seasons 😱

OK, finally watched all three. "Ashley Too" was... uh... what's the right word.... *bad*! Totally agreed - so much potential, wasted. The middle one with Andrew Scott was good though, esp. the ending.

Yeah I have no idea why @jwz liked "Ashley Too", I thought it was just terrible, such a mismatch to the other Black Mirror episodes in tone. It was funny, but that's not a primary goal for BM.

I agree Smithereens was just ok but there was far too much wink-wink fan service and basically slapstick comedy in “Ashley Too”. I’ll admit this part was awesome thoughhttps://mobile.twitter.com/nineinchnails/status/1139202561976590336 …

Yes, *but* it gets a pass because of a reference to Nathan Barley (a sugar ape magazine). I don't know if it's well known in USA, but I think if you liked IT crowd you might like it.
