Cloudflare is currently down, including the Cloudflare DoH server that is the default DoH server for Firefox, if you enabled it. We may ponder the wisdom of anointing a third party by default for browser DNS.pic.twitter.com/F344ni74sR

I don't think I'm wrong. If someone says "I'm pro-encryption, so long as it's escrowed encryption" then they are not pro-encryption. If someone says "I'm pro dns-encryption, so long as network admins can read queries" then they are not pro dns-encryption, agreed?
Its a perfectly reasonable position, but it's disingenuous to claim you're pro-dns encryption. That's all I'm saying.
during the presentation it was said that it would be a very bad decision by FF to choose one DNS provider and i concur, it is not FF's place
The reason Bert says that is because he believes network administrators should be able to read your dns queries, and if Mozilla does that then they can't. There are good arguments against it, but it is not a "pro dns encryption" argument, that's my only objection. Fair?
