That's not true, it was reported over a *year* in advance to Microsoft, including multiple in-person meetings in Redmond, phone meetings, and multiple personal threats from Microsoft staff. It was a tremendous amount of work, and Microsoft simply refused to budge.
I think you're talking about how an update for a bug I reported caused a common kernel rootkit to panic due to hardcoded offsets. I can see an argument that it's the malware developers fault for infecting victims, but you'll have to explain how I'm the cause.
