Just because something can happen, doesn't mean it did happen. It is certainly possible that a billion dollar secret government spy program could backdoor a motherboard, but I don't think it did.

Thankfully we don't live in a world where journalists can just publish random nonsense without a shred of evidence, then claim the burden of proof is on the readers to prove them wrong.
I tried to buy Supermicro stock, but they trade in a weird market which makes it surprisingly hard. They are also useless at filing results, different country different expectations.
