AVs are not about helping users making decisions. AVs are sold as tools to forget about the security of your computer, "the tool does it for you".
I mean, we're having this discussion because you're quoted in an article recommending people pay extra for more antivirus?

@spgedwards was saying that though.) I just said the average user should use some kind of AV and explicitly told@lorenzofb I didn't want to comment on whether Defender was good enough. -
