Honestly, obviously an antivirus industry advocate thinks people should give more money to the antivirus industry. A better story would be hearing you rationalize that, and hear why giving money makes antivirus better.

Having looked into some of the code produced by major antivirus vendors, I am scared as hell of letting their software run on my computer. One would think that working for an antivirus company would qualify you for writing secure code. Yes, the article is missing argumentation.

Given you’re informed enough to look into vendors’ code, chances are you may not be the exact center of the target group for whom the article was written.
