The way I read the thread was that someone said "bricked as in seriously bricked??" because it was so unbelievable and certainly not meant as doubtful of tavis's knowledge but just a proclamation of disbelief cause it's so crazy/cool. Taviso got defensive
Please give me a link to that thread, I do not recall a thread like that. Polite questions or requests for clarification are of course welcome and encouraged, things like "Not bricked!" or "you don't know what bricking is" do seem rude.

Fair enough if people were saying that then they are just getting presumptive. I read a few of your replies to people who were acting more in disbelief then insulting. A simple 'yep actually bricked, crazy right!' probably would have been fine, you were a little stern

You need to put yourself in my shoes, after dozens of condescending, rude, accusatory or insulting message, managing a polite but "stern" reply is pretty darn good, no?
