You appear to be saying that, whilst trying to repro the (fairly harmless) kernel panic and (accidentally?), Natalie went one step further and bricked (as in wrecked) a load of devices. Is that right? Or did I misunderstand? I’m not sure why people are arguing with you over it.

Or is the kernel panic generally more harmful than I imagined?

A kernel panic isn't harmful, just disruptive. The problem is it can indicate a serious problem that could be used to take over the device, that's why this is a big deal. I don't know why people are focusing on the bricking anecdote, and not that someone can take over your phone.

What are you talking about, asking questions is encouraged and welcome. That's not what happened. Please enlighten me, on what spectrum is this a polite way to ask a question?https://twitter.com/pry0cc/status/1059725939892994048 …

I've been getting these all day, it wears thin pretty quickly. Maybe you should put yourself in my position, and see how long you'll last before coming off a bit dismissive.
