It's certainly an economics problem for opportunistic attackers, they are rational and don't want to waste money adding support for 2FA users. That will yield 1% more victims for a lot of work...but when 90% users are 2FA users....

If it's a targeted attack, and I think access to your private blueprints will yield about $50k on the black market then $200 is a pretty sweet deal for that, but opportunistic phishing victims don't yield very much.

it's fair, it just paints a rather dark picture since the odds of many people using hardware 2fa on smartphones in 2018 and 2019 is basically nil due to difficulty of setup and use. So you have to bank on lazy / cheap criminals for now
