    I retweeted this post yesterday, but I urge people who care about encryption online to read it, because this legislation should scare you. I am going to follow with a (much less thorough and accurate) summary thread below.

    Bloomberg has just released a draft of the EARN IT Act bill, which goes after end-to-end encryption under the guise of amending Section 230. I just posted a 5200-word blog post about it.

    Kathryn, , did not bypass code review. She didn't disrupt anyone's work. She didn't target an individual. She didn't violate any policy I'm aware of. She linked to an NLRB notice from an extension that exists to show links to policies. This only makes sense as retaliation.

    I was fired last week by Google for organizing. All I did was make a popup to share the labor notice Google has to share with its workers. 3 hours later mgmt came to my desk, took my phone/laptop, escorted me away. I never got to say goodbye. My story:
