I remember being 5 or 6, and my mom telling my auntie about this yard sale she went to alone. She said the man gave her a bad vibe, and she knew she had to get out of there, quickly.

But the vast majority of these “incels,” these men who believe they have a god-given right to a woman’s body, these men were already dangerous. They just needed an outlet. They needed someone to tell them their anger was valid.

Incels are not the problem, at least not the systematic one. Call them what you will, but the pervasiveness of toxic masculinity and the entitlement to women’s bodies is the root here. You can’t cut down a tree by shaking the leaves.
