One reason software engineers can be know-it-all dicks is because they’ve learned the important meta-skill: how to learn things on the internet.
Something I seem to run into is that seems sometimes if you want to get good search results you need to know some specialized vocabulary already, otherwise you get a bunch of content optimized for SEO instead of for value.
