The point is these very people "in charge" (like Mulvaney) railed against the US deficit for years as their #1 issue, lied about it decreasing under Obama, and are now exploding it in historical fashion -- yet nary a word about it anymore.

The Federal Reserve is running a Ponzi Scheme that requires exponential money growth to keep the economy afloat. No politician cares at all about spending, deficits, debt, monetary reform or breaking up Wall Street banks. We live in an oligarchy where politicians are puppets.
