@mwoolweaver it’s a beta OS.
@tapbot_paul @StefanBielau that's actually an example of search ads working
@mobile_reach @tapbot_paul TM? Brand safety?
@StefanBielau @tapbot_paul no. Brand names are not exclusive to help smaller developers gain traction from large established players
@mobile_reach @tapbot_paul Would love to hear a comment from @NBCUniversal legal / marketing depart. on that
@StefanBielau @tapbot_paul it's the same as in search engines. It's not in violation.
@StefanBielau @tapbot_paul developer is not explicitly including another brand in ant if their brand/product copy
@StefanBielau @tapbot_paul @gabrielmachuret that's not spam to the small developer
@tapbot_paul "deep learning"
@tapbot_paul is the first organic result even visible on a 4" device?
@tapbot_paul helping the independent developer!
@tapbot_paul as if the app discovery wasn’t broken enough.
@tapbot_paul No capital C ! c!=C for Apple ;-)
@tapbot_paul We need to convince Apple to not allow ads targeted toward our registered trademarks. With me on this?
@kusmer @tapbot_paul Not just forbidding against registered trademarks, but against targeting any specific app name.
@s_ridenour @tapbot_paul That would be good, but hard to enforce. Trademarks are well-defined and legally actionable.
@kusmer @tapbot_paul They already have the name of every app in the store. They can just compare the keywords being bought against that.
@tapbot_paul Presumably that's because they're running an ad and you're not? You're still at the top of organic search.
