@s_ridenour @tapbot_paul ultimately the one-time-sale model doesn’t seem to be sustainable with the race to the bottom setting pricing.

@TheDaveCA @tapbot_paul I think indie devs are going to have to disabuse themselves of the idea they can make a living off of one app.

@s_ridenour @tapbot_paul but for it to work, it would need a 800lb gorilla to kickstart it to get critical mass.

@s_ridenour @tapbot_paul ultimately it might drive more quality iOS development by rewarding devs for ongoing use instead of one hit shots.

@tapbot_paul I think you should abandon the free upgrade of Tweetbot. Those of us who care would like to reward you for your efforts.

@joshcarr__ Mac is in a tough position since there’s no way to do any kind of upgrade pricing and charging another $20 is unpalatable.

@tapbot_paul not for me… I spent $20 more than 3 year ago, right? I use it daily and would happily spend another $20 for the new version.
