@tanehisicoates As a white guy, I don't see it as a "destruction," of my identity. I just seeing it as time to grow up.

@LuckyBestWash It is though. You'd have other identities, but being a member of the "white race" has no meaning beyond white supremacy.

@pcodding @LuckyBestWash Black racial identity won't. Ethnic will. Like all other ethnic IDs in America.

@tanehisicoates I liken it to post WWII Britain. They had to accept try were no longer the supreme power and had a decades long depression.

@LuckyBestWash But English identity was older than the empire. Not true of white identity. Comes directly out of conquest.

@tanehisicoates I'm in a weird spot, as I'm named after my Mayflower ancestor (he was an asshole, btw), and my Grandfather was full native.
