I've tweeted for many years about how awful Richard "RMS" Stallman is - the pedophilia, the ableism, the misogyny. Inevitably, each time I do, dudes examine my receipts & then say "all those incidents are from years ago! he's changed now!" NOPE.https://medium.com/@selamie/remove-richard-stallman-fec6ec210794 …

Robin Hobb's "The Farseer" trilogy made an excellent point, why we shouldn't "shouldn't allow men" (because that would be walking in circles). Let's educate, who needs to be educated and build in checks and balances into the system. Misogyny is bad, the opposite is too.

ok but have you considered: no?
-
That's not even remotely correct. Under whom did you study logic?
-
that's closer! keep at it, you'll get it. though really, preferably don't.

Its just a power thing,if you give people power they go wrong. Women will do this given half a chance. Its the same human failings just with different colourings and sprinkles.
-
that sounds like a testable hypothesis. let's give it a go.

You wouldn’t have software were it not for men and women working together. Last I checked you can’t code with a pitchfork
-
i think you're vastly overestimating the relevance of men. i mean, i could be wrong, but surely it's worth a shot? just kidding tho, if men left software they'd just go be awful somewhere else
