Students, faculty and staff are instructed to take shelter and stay in place until further notice. This is a precautionary measure. A&M-Commerce UPD is actively investigating three gunshot victims in Pride Rock Residence Hall on the A&M-Commerce campus.
There have been 2 confirmed deaths. The third victim has been taken to the hospital for treatment. UPD has stationed officers throughout campus, including all key gathering points, for the safety of the campus community. We will continue to share updates as they are available.

We've had 25 years of "thoughts and prayers" after school shootings. "Faith without works is dead." It's time to do something, and by do something, I mean it's time for the 2nd Amendment to go the way of the 18th.
While on lockdown my daughter had to just go to work. What if the person shooting decides three aren't enough to shoot and decides to shoot more. Geeze people get it together.
Another round for all the "thoughts and prayers "
