I think your income needed to qualify isn’t right. It should be $2,250 x 12 x 2 = $54,000. It’s pretty much standard for the monthly gross income to be double the rent.

Maybe move? When I was making less money, I lived in a cheaper area. Then, when I made more I lived in a more expensive area. Weird

Ah yes because “just pick up and move” is a totally feasible option for everyone! We can all just find cheap apartments and new jobs in a few hours and move in free of cost.
