I call it a mischaracterization rather than a diagnosis. You have a strong opinion of L based on an optics that views him through the eyes of other figures whom you deem worthy for undergirding your perspective. I am less trying to defend L than gain insight into your positings.

I have been reading Laruelle since I moved to France in 1980. I am not viewing Laruelle through the eyes of others so much as elaborating a meta-ontological perspective to get all these thinkers in virtual dialogue given that none of them seem capable of dialoguing in reality..
