Well .. that is a tall order .. Arabic is an FAR more subtle and nuanced language than English is. Capturing these nuances is a really hard task. But I will check and see what some might recommend for scholarly study.

It would also be a good idea to pick up a book about Early Islamic History at the time of the prophet, as many of the Quran's verses relate to specific incidents that happened to the prophet or around him and can provide context to the verse.
