BREAKING: On October 5, I wrote—quoting my analysis from early 2017—that the Steele Dossier is "at least 80% correct." Today, Steele himself (the former Russia desk chief for MI6) told The Guardian the dossier is "70% to 90% accurate." So we're in accord: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/nov/15/christopher-steele-trump-russia-dossier-accurate?CMP=share_btn_tw …https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status/916074799335657472 …

Thank you Sir. I am def not an expert on intelligence gathering. Is this normal protocol?
-
I am not an expert either, but basically Steele had to rely on his sources that he had cultivated and vetted, and whom he believed provides solid intelligence. His goal was to gather that intel and collate it if it were credible to him. For others to analyze/verify/falsify.

He made it up, he traded the 8 million he was paid for his credibility and a mountain of bullcrap
-
He made it up? K. He must be Nostradamus, cuz a whole variety of details and assertions have already been confirmed.
