That's a good argument. Lyotard tries to push us past *grand* metanarratives but not narrativity in general. It's a tightrope à la Nietzsche
Yes--down with grand, intractable metanarratives like "manifest destiny." But up with agile, reflexive, knowingly imperfect metanarratives.
