Compared to other industries - e.g movies, or construction, or investment banking, the games industry is relatively small and everybody knows each other. If you piss off one person, that can have deep ramifications when they tell their friends. It's small, insular and nepotistic

The boss of Pastagames, who made Rayman Jungle Run gave a presentation at my school explaining how he had landed that IP. He told us that his friend Jordan, invited to have a coffee with his other friend Michel. Turns out this Michel was Michel Ancel.
