new flat is in a building pre-wired with Hyperoptic (a UK ISP) 1GBPS fiber. Also worth noting it's peak time on Saturday, we've had it go as high as 950 off peak

That's pretty good for download, 1GB is excessive. Our last place had 200 down and worked fine. The upload is a bit rubbish though, if you need to do any file uploading or streaming
