In the past, it was always unfair though. People who were rich and spent hundreds of dollars to attend in person got a way better experience then those who weren't as fortunate. This way, it makes it so everyone gets an equal experience.

What about people without internet? What about people who live in places where they can't be awake for the show? There's always circumstances, this is a BS answer tbh. You can have a big live event, and also do a cool livestream for people at home - they aren't mutually exclusive
This is the answer they tell you because they want to believe it, but the truth is you can have a big live event for the people who can afford to go, and also livestream the whole thing to make it accessible for those who can't. Just like BlizzCon, just like every other event

You can a boxed copy or download and then play offline. But that's not really the point lol, it's that you can have a central event that is also accessible online, like BlizzCon

I didn't get the impression at all? The first tweet is him explaining why he disagrees and the second is about him feeling Minecon Earth would support your answer and why he takes issue that this is how they feel.
