Twitter is enough right now. The time and effort spent on a Facebook page would be better directed into more Twitter, Reddit or Instagram. Not worth it these days unless your brand is established enough to get a decent number of followers (few thousand at least)

Thanks! That's what we thought. It just feels like a dead platform if you don't pour money into advertisement these days
essentially yes. also when you're just doing 'marketing' on the side of actual dev, much easier to keep 1 or 2 channels regularly updated than trying to do everything. my pitch for most solo devs / small teams would be Twitter + Reddit + YouTube dev blogs / Twitch dev streams
