The only issue with the switch is that we are going to have to play to play online, which makes my copy of splatoon 2 worthless since I don't play enough to pay that.
Same on PS4 and Xbox. This is the state of modern consoles unfortunately

Thats why I never bought a ps4 or xbox 1 the nintendo switch still has use with most games as it is made to be taken with you. Just sad that I won't be able to enjoy splatoon anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
