So is Handmaid's Tale following the plot of the book or no? I have read the book and so do not really want to see the show... cause like... I know how it goes. But I was surprised to see it's getting a season 2, I thought it was a miniseries

the entire book was completed in season 1 and now I'm not sure what's going to happen in season 2.

That makes me more interested to watch tbh, though maybe not enough. It's not a fun story

It's not fun, but there are funny moments throughout. If it helps, Season 1 ends on an uncertain but -somewhat- positive note, going into entirely new material for S2

Wow, re-reading this the time came off completely wrong. I meant there are a few moments of dark humour and resistance from June that are very helpful for the viewer, but it's still just as difficult to watch as the book is to read - perhaps worse because of the visuals
