      I agree, but I believe he even said something in there along those lines? Or maybe it just gave off that vibe. He wasn't apologizing for him, he was doing it for her.

      Yeah like he never wanted to make it about him which kind of adds to how annoying these articles are, like he was just expressing remorse for his actions and that was good enough honestly

      But if a good apology can, as in this case, actively help the victim get closure, then maybe there is value in showing people how it's done. Provided it doesn't excuse the original offence.

      I think that publicising a really good apology like this might encourage more men to consider their actions and maybe apologise too? That was also in his apology, about how if everyone apologised this well automatically the world would be a better place for women, for everyone
